| Postscaenium II Exhibit in Krakow
The opening of an exhibit „POSTSCAENIUM II” by Edwin Grat will take place on October 11 at 18:00 in the BB gallery Kraków, ul. Garbarska 24. The exhibit will be on display October 11-22, 2010. Grat says of his work: "For over 40 years I have pursued a concept, conceived in my early years in academia. My paintings are environments where elements of polarity are organized to convey a personal compelling message to the viewer. At one end of the pole, I choreograph, flexible, colorful figures that gesticulate an inner flowing energy as they develop and assume their own personality and power. At the opposite extreme, the hard inflexible, unsympathetic, monochromatic backgrounds will always be at odds with the figures." More information at: http://edwindavidgrat.artspan.com/home |
