Greetings from Krakow! The weather and tourists are certainly reminding us that summer is here. In the Consulate, we are working on a number of exciting programs that focus on Poland’s contributions to the international world we live in. In Wroclaw, from June 9-11, we will participate once again in the Wroclaw Global Forum, looking at the current state of transatlantic relations. And the following week, we’ll explore a different side of international culture by looking at the life of Billy Wilder, a truly cosmopolitan film maker, whose career touched many different countries. In between, we’ll celebrate a great American classic as we partner with Teatr Groteska for a production of “The Velveteen Rabbit.” Don’t forget to check out our Facebook for an exciting Velveteen Rabbit contest. As always, there is much more information available below and on our website. Sincerely, |
Consul General
