Ambassador Victor Ashe Visits Rzeszow

Ambassador Victor Ashe met with local government leaders during his two-day visit to Rzeszów November 29-30, 2004. His talk with the Mayor of Rzeszów focused on the city, its development plans, the local aircraft industry and the shortcomings of the provincial transportation infrastructure. The Ambassador later gave an exclusive interview to TVP 3 Rzeszów the regional television channel. He answered questions ranging from U.S. investments in Podkarpackie, the situation in Ukraine, visas, and the F-16 "offset" program. He emphasized the strong American-Polish ties and working relationship between the two nations.
