Ambassador Addresses Conference on Ronald Reagan

The U.S. Ambassador Victor Ashe provided opening remarks at an academic conference devoted to the Presidency of Ronald Reagan, in Krakow on December 1, 2004.

The conference was organized by Krakowska Szkola Wyzsza, the largest private university in Krakow, and brought together academic specialists from throughout Poland and other countries, to discuss the legacy of President Reagan's administration and in particular its impact on Poland and its struggle against Communism.

The United States Consulate General in Krakow supported the conference by arranging for a keynote speaker, Dr. Stuart Goldman of the Congressional Research Service.
