The U.S. Consulate General in Krakow Donates Books to Rzeszow University

On November 29, 2004, U.S. Consul General in Krakow, Kenneth Fairfax presented a set of 144 books published by the Library of America to the Institute of English Philology and the main library at the University of Rzeszów.

The Library of America, a nonprofit publisher, is dedicated to preserving the works of America's greatest writers. The set contains works by Thoreau, Faulkner, Hawthorne, James, Melville as well as selections of American poetry, philosophy, journalism and historical writings.
