Licensing Digital Information - a DVC

On June 1 over twenty representatives of the library sector both in Poland and abroad (including the USA) took part in a videoconference on Licensing Digital Information for Academic Use with Trisha L. Davis of the Ohio State University Libraries. The DVC was held at the American Information Resource Center at the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow.

The audience were participants in the annual conference organized by the Institute of Librarianship and Information Science of the Jagiellonian University. During the DVC Ms. Davis stressed the importance of respecting intellectual property rights and advised the audience on how to prepare contracts related to access to electronic sources of information.
