Poland's Accession to the European Union
and U.S.-EU Relations

The United States Consulate General in Krakow is hosting a series of video conferences focusing on U.S.-EU relations and their impact on the U.S.-Polish relationship. Two groups of Polish students and young academics have taken part in the conferences on the Polish side so far. The events are moderated by the U.S. Consul General in Krakow, Kenneth Fairfax. The American guests include U.S. government officials in Washington and diplomats from the United States Mission to the European Union.

On February 26 Charles Ries, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the Department of State presented an introductory overview of U.S.-EU relations and their impact on Poland.
