D-Day Exhibit in Krakow

On August 2, 2004, the U.S. Consul General in Krakow, Kenneth Fairfax; the Deputy Director of the Krakow Historical Museum, Jacek Salwinski; and the Deputy Director of the Krakow branch of the National Archives, Magdalena Marosz opened an exhibit of D-Day memorabilia at the Krakow Historical Museum.

The exhibit has been organized to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Allied landing in Normandy. It displays selections from the collections of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Museum and Library - U.S. National Archives, Polish National Archives, Central Military Archives and Museum of Polish Army.

The exhibit will be on display from August 2 to September 15 in the Hall of the Krzysztofory Palace, Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 - 17:30 at Rynek Glowny 35 in Krakow.
